We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager to oversee daily operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar structure manufacturing, lean production systems, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of production on the shop floor, ensuring daily targets are met. This includes supervising and optimizing job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various stages of manufacturing.
In addition, the Production Manager will design and implement layout plans for new projects including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation. They will maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs.
The role also involves ensuring in-process inventory management and a smooth production flow. The Production Manager will coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful development and integration of new products or structures.
The Production Manager will drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through lean practices and automation initiatives. They will ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications as required for solar product manufacturing.
