Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

">Overview of the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned expert in quality assurance to join our team as a senior quality assurance automation engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing theory and principles, with experience in developing test automation frameworks and maintaining existing ones. Additionally, they should be proficient in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Swift, and their usage under CI/CD pipelines.

As a senior quality assurance automation engineer, you will play a key role in driving innovation and supporting product evolution through modern agile and technical practices and architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create acceptance criteria and test scenarios, design and develop comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks, and participate in code reviews to ensure thorough coverage of critical cases.

In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring test runs, application errors, and performance, as well as ensuring that the team's testing processes are efficient and effective. Your expertise in various testing practices, such as unit, load, endurance, and cross-platform testing, will be valuable assets to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain automated test capabilities for various test levels and types.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure thorough coverage of critical cases.
  • Monitor test runs, application errors, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Strong foundation in software testing theory and principles.
  • Experience in developing test automation frameworks and maintaining existing ones.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated approaches.
  • Expertise in various testing practices, such as unit, load, endurance, and cross-platform testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Swift, and their usage under CI/CD pipelines.
