Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Static Stress Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the analysis and design of aircraft structures.

Your primary focus will be on performing stress analysis using classical methods such as ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will extract loads, stresses, material data, geometry details, and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings.
  • You will apply appropriate static design values from standard references.
  • You will create and refine Finite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data.
  • You will conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static requirements.
  • You will perform detailed joint analysis, including Reserve Factors (RF) calculations for various failure modes: Strength, Buckling (Column & Panel), Shear panel failure.
  • You will identify and implement low RF mitigations using classical or numerical methods.
  • You will prepare stress certification dossiers, including ACD4 and SSR reports.
  • You will collaborate with design, loads, and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in static stress engineering.
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
