Accounting Professional

A forward-thinking organization is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join their team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements for US-based clients.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports that meet all necessary regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Ensure US tax compliance by preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns (income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, etc.) in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Comply with US tax regulations, filing deadlines, and reporting requirements to avoid any penalties or fines.
  • Assist clients with tax planning to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions.
  • Review and analyze tax notices and correspondence to assist clients with resolution.
  • Provide regulatory compliance support by assisting clients with compliance requirements related to IRS, state agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance regulatory compliance and efficiency.
  • Advise on cross-border taxation implications for US entities working globally.
  • Provide insights on withholding taxes, foreign investments, and treaty benefits, where applicable.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide regular updates on financial performance and tax obligations.
  • Build long-term client relationships by ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or EA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates pursuing CPA/EA are welcome.
  • 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of US taxation and accounting practices are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and US reporting standards.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements, manage ledgers, and support audits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
