Procurement Manager for Electric Vehicles

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Executive to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for local sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendors for materials, components, and services required in the Electric Vehicle (2-wheeler) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for EV components and raw materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery timelines, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities as per company standards.
  • Work closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements.
  • Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Coordinate logistics for timely deliveries from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA
  • Experience: 2–5 years in procurement, preferably in automobile or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of EV components is preferred.
  • Advance proficiency in MS-Excel.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
