SAP Data Archival Specialist

As a data archiving expert, you will oversee the secure storage and retrieval of critical business data. This role demands technical acumen, meticulousness, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Server Administration: Manage access permissions, monitor file servers, troubleshoot authorization issues, and conduct annual security audits.
  • Data Migration: Extract and transfer archived data to buyers, create documentation on maintenance activities, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Software Management: Install and update enterprise software, troubleshoot issues related to Enterprise Scan and WinViewer, and maintain software configurations.
  • SAP Data Archiving: Activate and deactivate archive infostructures, run catch-up archiving, and perform sweeper tasks.
  • Reporting and Incident Management: Attend Agile ceremonies, update work items, assess and resolve incidents, and collaborate with other teams.
  • SAP ILM Retention Management and Warehouse Management: Assist project teams in testing archive functionalities and performing data migrations.
Key Requirements
  • Deliver incident and problem management solutions within service level agreements.
  • Perform successful and error-free SAP Maintenance activities according to the upgrade schedule.
  • Complete assigned user stories prioritized by the product owner.
  • Produce high-quality documentation using OneNote for lessons learned, undocumented problem solutions, and new configurations.
