Pavement Design Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Pavement Design Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evaluating new and existing pavement structures, as well as developing scope of works and tender documents for pavement assessment and rehabilitation programs.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanistic design methods and finite element modeling techniques, as well as experience with BIM modeling using Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate pavement structures, including flexible, rigid, interlocking pavements, and natural stone setts.
  • Develop scope of works and tender documents for pavement assessment and rehabilitation programs.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on pavement design, condition evaluation, and rehabilitation recommendations.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with international standards, such as AASHTO, Austroads, USACE, and local country codes.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in pavement design and evaluation, including experience with mechanistic design methods and finite element modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in BIM modeling software, including Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices is essential. Experience working with government agencies or private companies is a plus.
