About the Role\

We're seeking a seasoned Technology Leader to spearhead a growing team of software engineers, guiding them in delivering scalable, high-impact solutions for the life sciences industry.

As our engineering team expands, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring engineers, overseeing project delivery, and collaborating closely with product and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

\

Our technology stack comprises modern tools, including JavaScript (Node.js, React.js), Java, and AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. We're also integrating AI-driven features and automation into our platform to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

A key aspect of our system is a private, permissioned blockchain that ensures data security, integrity, and traceability.

\\Key Responsibilities\
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of full-stack engineers while fostering technical growth and accountability
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and deliver new features aligned with business objectives
  • Take ownership of project execution from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security through architectural guidance and code reviews
  • Identify and address technical blockers to ensure timely delivery of product milestones
  • Build a high-trust, collaborative team culture in line with company values
  • Work with leadership to continuously evolve engineering processes, tools, and best practices as the team scales
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate high-quality software development and improve engineering efficiency
\\Technical Skills and Experience\
  • 5–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a tech lead
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) and Java
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
  • Deep experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
  • Experience in using AI/ML tools to enhance product capabilities or improve development workflows
  • Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Exposure to enterprise domains such as supply chain, manufacturing, or life sciences is a plus
