We are seeking a seasoned Search Quality Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of search results.
- You will select and integrate data tools and frameworks to provide requested capabilities, providing technical guidance for software engineers in design, coding, reviewing, and testing of enterprise software.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers to understand data and models for QA test development and validation, implementing ETL processes, monitoring performance, and advising on necessary infrastructure changes.
- You will define data retention policies and collaborate with the recruitment team for hiring, troubleshooting applications and rectifying problems at earlier stages, involving defect life cycle management.
- Test software and conduct UAT with business users in an Agile manner, continuously automating to increase test coverage and efficiency, providing proactive and reactive support in deployments and production environments.
Required Skills:
- Create detailed and comprehensive test suites using programming languages like Python.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract or validate data.
- Have a good understanding of Big Data concepts and NoSQL databases.
- Proficient in writing Hive QL and Spark QL queries.
- Hands-on experience with data testing tools like DBT, iCEDQ, QuerySurge, Denodo, Informatica, etc.
- Good understanding of QE testing types for testing data quality.
- Troubleshoot applications and rectify problems at earlier stages, involving defect life cycle management.
- Test software and conduct UAT with business users in an Agile manner.
- Continuously automate to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Provide proactive and reactive support in deployments and production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Linux or Unix.
- Good debugging skills.
- Solve ongoing issues with operating the cluster.
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
- Experience with BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau (a plus).
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
