Procurement Expert Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a procurement expert in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely closure of assigned requests and maintaining 100% compliance with documentation and internal controls.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement or supply chain operations within a mid to large-sized organization.
  • A proven track record in vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase order management, and inventory tracking is required.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  2. Track order deliveries, verify invoices, and liaise with the Finance team for payment processing.
  3. Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database, and ensure compliance with audit and documentation standards.
  4. Support in preparing procurement reports, tracking PO lifecycle, and collecting structured feedback from users post-delivery.
  5. Manage inventory of office supplies, marketing materials, and consumables, including tracking stock levels, issuance, and timely replenishment.
  6. Oversee asset movement, documentation, and support implementation of asset tracking tools and internal audits.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Any certification or coursework in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management is a plus.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations within a mid to large-sized organization.
  • Proven track record in vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase order management, and inventory tracking.
  • Exposure to administrative functions such as managing office supplies, consumables, and asset tagging.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and inventory control practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and procurement software such as Zoho or SAP.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
