Indirect Tax Expert

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
- Independently manage a wide range of GST related assignments including retainership, compliances, tax reviews, GST audit, departmental audits and scrutiny, etc.
- Well versed with other Indirect Taxes Laws viz. Service Tax & VAT Laws and having good practical exposure in handling compliances and litigations
- Preparation of submissions/replies to various tax notices, show cause notices, drafting appeals, etc.
- Representation before revenue authorities such as before Commissioner/Commissioner (Appeal) concerning EA 2000 audit, CERA audit and DGCEI Investigations, Scrutiny, Assessment, Refund, etc.
- Foster client engagement by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues within agreed timelines, and working closely with our support team to ensure that client needs are met.
- Ensure the timely execution of deliverables, both technical and non-technical.
- Help junior team members develop through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring.
- Offer guidance and consultation on GST matters to clients, including providing insights on tax implications related to new business deals and other relevant scenarios.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- CA/Lawyer with 5-6 years' working experience specifically in Indirect tax domain
- Hands-on experience for complex GST technical review and advisory
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
- Independent in managing own workload with limited available resources, ability to work under pressure
- Excellent team player
- Working knowledge of ERP package viz. Tally, MS Office, etc.
- Hands-on with advanced MS Excel
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Business Development skills
