Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our Virtual Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with experience in centre operations management, team and people management, administrative, financial and HR oversight, and strategic and growth initiatives.

  • Centre Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Virtual Medical Centre, managing command centre operations and support for doctors, patients, and paramedics. Ensure compliance and quality through regular audits and coordination with doctors, patients, and support teams.
  • Team & People Management: Lead a team of 10-12 across operations, admin, finance, and HR. Mentor, guide, and review team performance, encouraging professional growth and conducting performance reviews.
  • Administrative, Financial & HR Oversight: Supervise scheduling, office management, and command centre tasks. Work with finance teams on payments, collections, and reconciliations. Generate reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) to ensure payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement are handled smoothly.
  • Strategic & Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with senior management on growth and expansion. Identify process improvements and implement enhancements. Align operations with organizational goals and compliance.
  • Stakeholder & Reporting: Report centre performance and key metrics to senior management. Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability in all functions.
Requirements:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Tamil; knowledge of Telugu and Hindi is an added advantage.
  • 5-8 years of experience in healthcare management, hospital administration, or operations.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role.
