Automation Professional Opportunity

 

  • Develop and implement automated test frameworks and suites for use in development and testing cycles.
  • Initiate code and test case reviews to ensure high-quality Test Cases, comprehensive Test coverage, and robust Automation Code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.
  • Assume ownership of manual and automation tasks when necessary.
  • Work closely with the test team to identify new automation opportunities and contribute to managing test environments.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information effectively.
  • Strive for zero random test failures by optimizing automation.
  • Ensure high code coverage through close collaboration with the development team.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of products from both technical and business perspectives within the larger business context.

A successful candidate must have a proven track record of delivering results, be passionate about quality, be meticulous in their approach, be an effective team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a developer, QA engineer, or SDET.
  • Significant expertise in programmatically testing products, measuring test coverage, developing best practices in automation, driving testability, and diagnostic ability into the product.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, TypeScript, or C#, including object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience in penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodology.
  • In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Hands-on expertise in various test automation approaches, frameworks, and tools.
  • Practical experience with UI, API, and cross-browser testing tools.
