Security Automation Professional

Job Overview

As a skilled Security Automation Professional, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation workflows to streamline security operations. This role requires strong scripting skills, experience with SOAR platforms, and the ability to integrate multiple security tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Workflow Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation playbooks within SOAR platforms to automate repetitive tasks and enhance incident response efficiency.
  • Integration and Automation: Integrate multiple security tools with SOAR for automated incident handling, such as phishing response, malware triage, and account lockouts.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with SOC teams to understand manual workflows and translate them into automated playbooks, providing documentation and training on automation workflows.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Security Operations Expertise: 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Automation, or SOAR Engineering.
  • SOAR Platform Experience: Hands-on expertise with SOAR platforms such as Palo Alto XSIAM, QRadar SOAR, or similar.
  • Scripting/Programming Skills: Strong scripting/programming skills in Python (mandatory), PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Custom Integration Experience: Proven ability to design and deploy custom integrations and APIs for automation workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Palo Alto XSIAM or QRadar SOAR Certification: Palo Alto XSIAM or QRadar SOAR certification(s).
  • DevSecOps Practices: Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automation pipelines.
  • Automated Playbook Experience: Experience in automating playbooks for phishing, malware, insider threat, and account takeover scenarios.
