Cybersecurity Researcher Role

Secure browser ecosystems and lead investigations into emerging threats.

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Researcher to develop and execute research strategies, identifying vulnerabilities and attack vectors targeting enterprise users.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of browser-focused security threats, including vulnerabilities, bugs, and advanced attack scenarios.
  • Create proof-of-concept exploits to simulate real-world threats and assess the impact of discovered issues.
  • Design technical demonstrations of attacks and solutions.
  • Develop high-quality technical reports, whitepapers, or research submissions for security conferences and publications.
  • Analyze and track evolving threat landscapes relevant to browser security, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align research outcomes with business objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity research, focusing on browser, extensions, or client-side browser/user security.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a cybersecurity product company.
  • Demonstrate expertise in identifying and analyzing web-based vulnerabilities and real-world exploit scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and tooling.
  • Familiarity with Linux VM/Container environments and cloud platforms.
  • Good understanding of internet security protocols and attack surface mapping.
  • Prior experience publishing or contributing to technical research papers, CVEs, or security community knowledge bases is beneficial.
