Ignition Developer

We are seeking a skilled Ignition Developer to join our team. As an Ignition Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced industrial control systems using the Ignition platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement MES applications using Ignition modules such as Perspective, Web Browser, Alarm Notification, SQL Bridge, Tag Historian, and Reporting.
  • Integrate with OPC server products like Kepware and other industrial devices.
  • Develop complex code and construct database objects based on design documents.
  • Assist in gathering information to determine architecture specifications and parameters for software compatibility.
  • Document, validate, and research reported problems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in MES implementations.
  • At least 2 full Ignition MES implementation projects.
  • Excellent understanding of Ignition modules.
  • Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, Python scripting, and Java.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and integration with different PLCs for shop floor data capture.
  • MQTT module knowledge is a plus.
