Project Delivery Lead

We are seeking a seasoned project delivery lead to oversee the successful completion of complex software projects. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in web development technologies such as .NET, JAVA, PHP, Node, Angular, React, Ruby on Rails etc. and 4+ years of experience in project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement by implementing effective processes and methodologies.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to deliver quality software on time and within budget.
  3. Analyze situations and make informed decisions to adjust team, processes, and project execution plans to ensure successful delivery.
  4. Maintain clear expectations with the delivery team, product team, and stakeholders through open communication and collaboration.
  5. Monitor project status/progress reports and determine if the project is on track to meet its objectives.
  1. Identify and remove blockers for team members to facilitate seamless progress.
  2. Evaluate skill gaps/requirements and take necessary actions to resolve them.
  3. Negotiate conflicting opinions amongst teams to drive consensus and cooperation.
  4. Conduct performance reviews and provide grooming/mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good analytical and logical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Able to evaluate team members' skills and allocate tasks, roles, and future progression plans.
  • Ability to handle critical situations with poise and professionalism.
  • Able to take actions and make decisions as per situation's demand.
  • Well-versed in at least one software development framework:
  • .NET, JAVA, PHP, Node, Angular, React, Ruby on Rails etc.
  • SQL Databases
  • Any cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps etc.
  • Experience with source controls GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab etc.
