Senior Data Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, statistical analysis, and machine learning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in developing analytical models, implementing data-driven decision-making processes, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced data analytics models to enhance business capabilities and drive strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, transforming it into valuable insights for business strategies.
  • Create and validate scorecards for risk assessment using statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and visualization to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Utilize programming skills in Python for data management, model development, and automation of analytical processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance, recommending adjustments and improvements based on analytics and business requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics to continuously improve methodologies and practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in data manipulation and modeling libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques and experience in scorecard development.
  • Experience in fraud detection methodologies and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex algorithms.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
