Enterprise Operational Risk Manager

Job Overview:
">- Oversee and direct multiple projects across operational risk management areas, including internal control assessments, policy development, third-party risk management, incident response, and business continuity for financial institutions.
- Review and validate existing frameworks, policies, procedures, and risk and control matrices to ensure soundness, testing design, and identification of control weaknesses.
- Meet business requirements and regulatory expectations by assessing key aspects of each area under review, including assessment approach, underlying assumptions, and associated limitations.
- Demonstrate independence in project planning, stakeholder engagement, testing design, execution, results interpretation, and presentation, with strong documentation to evidence a sound challenge to internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments within the firm to investigate operational risk and governance standards, conduct detailed risk and control self-assessment (RCSA), define key risk indicators (KRIs), monitor KRI, and establish loss data and incident reporting workflows.
- Develop a deep understanding of process risk and controls, compliance requirements, and the financial services industry, businesses, regulators, and their roles.
- Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and thought leadership documents on operational risk-related topics and lead team building, mentoring, and project management.
- Effectively manage stakeholders and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Lead and manage independent projects, develop strategic plans, and implement effective solutions to address operational risks.
- Assess and mitigate risks using GRC tools such as MetricStream, SAP GRC, etc.
- Develop and maintain risk-based processes, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
">- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk, incident management, third-party risks, business continuity planning, loss data, risk-based process reviews, internal controls, SOPs, and policies.
- Relevant certifications such as CA, MBA, or any other relevant master's program.
- Experience with GRC tools, risk management methodologies, and data analysis software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
