Scientific Officer – Oligo Synthesis Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Officer to join our oligo synthesis and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute automated solid-phase synthesis protocols.
  • Optimize synthesis conditions for maximum coupling efficiency.
  • Purify and characterize oligos using various techniques including HPLC, PAGE, CE, LC-MS, and UV-Vis.
  • Develop and maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety procedures, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive method development and QC initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in oligo synthesis and analysis or related field.
  • Strong background in oligo synthesis, purification, and analytical techniques.
  • Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
