Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our castings and metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection (Internal & Third-Party):

    • Visual Inspection
    • Dimensional Inspection
    • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
    • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Radiographic Testing (RT)

  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Preparation and review of inspection reports (internal and third-party)

  • Coordination & Communication:

    • Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors
    • Ensuring smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements

  • Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):

    • Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements

  • Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:

    • Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors
    • Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis)
    • Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing

  • Technical Collaboration:

    • Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories
    • Ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards

  • Heat Treatment Process:

    • Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings

  • Measuring Instruments & Calibration:

    • Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges

Requirements:

  • A strong background in inspection, testing, and quality assurance for castings and metal components

  • Proven ability to coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, ensure compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP), and conduct a variety of internal and external quality tests

  • Skilled in the calibration and use of precision instruments, with hands-on experience in both destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT)
