The position of Opcenter Core and Electronics MES Expert entails responsibility for planning, designing, configuring, developing, and testing the Opcenter application. This role works closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth implementation and maintenance of the application.

This role collaborates with Siemens integration technology to enable closed-loop manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain Siemens Opcenter Core and Electronics (Camstar MES) application.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure Opcenter Core and Electronics high-availability settings.
  • Support the operations team in testing and accepting new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  • Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on business operations.
  • Monitor the Opcenter Core and Electronics application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • FOLLOW industry-leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core and Electronics.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for Opcenter Core and Electronics MES projects and support activities.
  • Train junior or new team members and users as required.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Opcenter Core and Electronics (Camstar MES) application.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementations.
  • Proficiency in Modelling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in Opcenter Core Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
