Backend Development Role

As a Backend Development Engineer, you will be part of a core engineering team responsible for building high-performance systems that power the travel ecosystem.

  • Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using .NET Core / C#.
  • Work with modern technologies including AWS, microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and data scientists to design and implement scalable systems.

This is a hands-on coding role where you will contribute to design discussions, ensure best engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers. You will have the opportunity to work on AI-powered SaaS platforms that process billions of signals every day, enabling hotels, airlines, and OTAs to drive smarter revenue outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-6 years of professional backend development experience, preferably in SaaS / cloud-native / high-scale platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis) databases.
  • Practical experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience in microservices and distributed system design.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Additionally, you should have exposure to observability tools, awareness of AI/ML frameworks, and familiarity with scalable SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architecture.
