Leading the way in electrical engineering, our company is seeking a skilled professional to design and develop innovative solutions for semiconductor capital equipment.

We're looking for an expert with a strong foundation in control systems, drive selection, and safety compliance. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge, ability to handle industrial I/O systems, and a deep understanding of risk assessment and machine safety principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and select motors, drives, and motion systems for semiconductor capital equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work with B&R I/O systems; familiarity with Siemens PLCs is an advantage.
  • Contribute to risk assessments per SEMI S14, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL standards, guaranteeing a safe working environment.
  • Develop AC/DC power distribution systems compliant with NFPA 79, SEMI S22, and relevant UL standards, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements, load/motion integration for new and existing projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and lead a team of engineers when required, driving project success.
  • Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable routing diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Manage product data in PLM systems, streamlining information management.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for control panels, drives, and I/O systems, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Support FAT execution, customer acceptance, and third-party safety audits, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment, demonstrating expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of drive selection, motor sizing, and motion control principles, enabling effective system design.
  • Experience with SEMI S14 risk assessment, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL compliance, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as strong knowledge of PLM systems, facilitating efficient information management.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills for drives, control circuits, and industrial I/O, resolving issues quickly.
  • Understanding of SEMI Standards, NFPA, and UL compliance requirements, adhering to industry regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic PLC programming knowledge: experience with B&R and Siemens PLCs is an added advantage, enhancing programming skills.
