Job Title: Senior Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our accounting functions, utilizing their expertise in construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.

About the Role:

  • Oversight of daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensuring timely completion of the monthly close process with all general ledger accounts reconciled and analyzed.
  • Cordination of the construction draw process, ensuring accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.
  • Management of yearly audit and tax compliance processes.
  • Establishment and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitoring actual expenses vs budget and participating in cash management and forecasting.
  • Providing vital information for informed decision-making.
  • Oversight of Yardi usage, the Company's Property and Accounting software.
  • Maintenance of knowledge on project profitability reports and percentage of completion methods of accounting.
  • Compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and policies.

Requirements:

1. CA/CPA certification with 7-8 years of experience in real estate/construction industry.

2. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality of deliverables.

3. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

4. Demonstrated work ethic, high integrity, and follow-up skills.

5. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking in decision-making.

6. Analytical and quantitative skills.

7. Leadership and management experience.

8. Computer skills, particularly in Yardi or similar real estate accounting systems.

9. Ability to take initiative and manage teams effectively.
