Refractory Lead Role Overview

This position requires a seasoned leader to oversee refractory projects within the Calcium Carbide and VCM units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plan, execute, and monitor refractory jobs to meet quality standards and safety regulations by analyzing project schedules and requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to minimize delays and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure defect-free execution by reviewing and validating technical specifications, BOMs, BDs, BEs, and project timelines.
  • Maintain project alignment and resolve technical and material issues through thorough investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Deliver high-quality refractory services by adhering to established methodologies, procedures, specifications, codes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7-12 years of experience in executing various refractory projects, handling similar assignments, and interacting with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on expertise in refractory job execution and management, including strategic planning, team leadership, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
