Trainee Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CA Final student to join our organization as an Industrial Trainee under the ICAI Industrial Training framework. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in Risk Management, Internal Controls, Business Finance, FP&A, and Financial Statement closure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing internal audits across business functions.
- Participate in operational audits and compliance reviews.
- Assist in walkthroughs and testing of controls as part of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Participate in identifying control gaps and developing remediation plans.
- Work closely with different departments to assess process-level risks and recommend improvements.
Additional Exposures:
- Business Finance & FP&A: Assist in preparing monthly MIS, dashboards, and business performance reports. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting exercises across business units.
- Financial Reporting & Closure Support: Support the team in monthly and annual closing processes. Coordinate with the external audit team for schedule preparations and audit queries.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Eligibility for industrial training as per ICAI regulations.
- Strong conceptual understanding of accounting, auditing, and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Oracle (Netsuite) is a plus).
- Hands-on exposure to Internal Audit methodologies and ICFR testing frameworks.
