Leading Hospital Pharmacy Operations Specialist

The role of a Pharmacy Operations Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of hospital pharmacy operations. This includes managing procurement, inventory, distribution, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of patient safety, cost efficiency, and service quality.
- Key responsibilities include supervising day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, billing, and stock management, and monitoring drug availability to prevent stockouts.
- The manager will oversee inward & outward movement of drugs, surgical items, and consumables, and implement cost control measures without compromising on quality.
Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with clinicians, nursing, and administration teams.
For success in this role, you should have at least 5–8 years of hospital pharmacy experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial position. A degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm / M. Pharm / Pharm. D) and registration as a Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council are also required.
