Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help raise the bar on product quality through rigorous testing and quality control measures.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for testing our products-from new feature releases to ongoing enhancements-while also ensuring our platforms meet digital accessibility standards.
This includes proactively identifying potential failure points through various data models, championing test automation where possible, and acting as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive test design templates and test plans and perform hands-on testing, with a natural ability to deliver on tight timelines.
- Document test cases and track issues in our testing studio.
- Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, support teams, and other functional team members to understand requirements and determine required scope of testing.
- Collaborate with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, and JavaScript and browser behavior.
- Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
- Experience working with tracking tools such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla etc.
- Ability to find root cause of open production support tickets quickly.
- Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as subject matter expert.
- Ability to influence development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating problem.
- Understanding of development technologies (Java, JavaScript, REST API, ReactJs, CSS).
- Experience with test automation of web applications.
- Experience working in Agile development lifecycle.
