Environmental and Chemical Engineer Job Description

As an Environmental and Chemical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the environmental sustainability of our products. This involves controlling and validating environmental data collection and maintenance on all types of components in our corporate database, as well as analyzing obsolescence risks of chemical components.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Validating environmental data for compliance with regulations like REACh or RoHS
  • Collaborating with manufacturers to collect data on chemical mixtures
  • Performing data consolidations and communicating summary results to stakeholders

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong commitment to reliability and quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with international materials and processes standards (ISO, EN, MIL)
  • Knowledge of database management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

Additionally, experience with environmental regulations and knowledge of database management would be advantageous.
