Job Overview

The operations team is dedicated to delivering exceptional platform management and engineering support to drive business value through technology.

As a senior engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation and upkeep of our cloud infrastructure and platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on experience as an IT engineer with strong knowledge on different cloud technologies and platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Understanding cloud governance, best practices, and policies within Azure.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting unknown technical issues.
  • Proven track record in providing support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure, including incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing automated solutions.
  • Building and mentoring teams, guiding individuals, and working with cross-functional teams to support cloud solutions effectively.
  • Understanding inventory management, software assurance, CMDB, and asset management tooling.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Relevant cloud and/or technology discipline certification, especially AZ-104.
  • Scripting in relevant disciplines and Cloud Automation.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust disaster recovery strategies and ensuring business continuity.

Additionally, you will be expected to have expertise in storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS), strong knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, SMB), and experience with storage management tools (EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM). You will also guide and architect future storage technologies, resolve 3rd line storage related incident support calls, design/build/deploy storage solutions and shares, understand data permissions, ACLs, and general access management. Proactive monitoring/tuning of storage services in various environments is required. Daily tasks and major events participation, on-call support of systems and restores, and demonstrated Unix and/or NT administration skills are also essential.
