We seek an accomplished visionary to spearhead our initiatives in future studies, scenario planning, and global foresight as a Chair in Innovation & Foresight Studies.

About the Role:
  • Establish and direct the Woxsen Future Studies Center to foster a culture of strategic thinking and innovation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and publish annual foresight reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability, providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Design and teach graduate-level courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning, equipping students with the skills to navigate emerging challenges.
  • Cultivate partnerships with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects, driving collective progress towards a better future.
  • Mentor doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies, nurturing the next generation of thought leaders.
  • Represent Woxsen at international foresight and innovation forums, solidifying the institution's reputation as a hub for visionary thinking.
Requirements
  • Hold a PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Policy, Strategic Management, or a related field, demonstrating expertise in forward-thinking strategies.
  • Possess an internationally recognized scholarly record, showcasing a deep understanding of the complex interplay between global trends and societal impact.
  • Bring proven experience in policy advisory, foresight consulting, or global think tanks, with a strong track record of delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Nurture a robust network of global academic and industry connections, facilitating collaborative opportunities and knowledge exchange.
