Distinguished Accountant-Lead

Key responsibilities for this role include managing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance and optimizing costs.

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books.

Maintain clean and compliant financial records in line with accounting standards.

This involves overseeing all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and inventory accounting.

Manage accounting for online sales platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) including reconciliation of payouts, returns and commissions.

Track customer refunds, chargebacks and promotions across multiple channels.

Monitor logistics costs, warehousing expenses and fulfillment-related accounting.

Ensure accurate inventory valuation in systems integrated with D2C storefronts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling end-to-end accounting for consumer brands.

The team requires someone who can analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and present actionable insights.

This includes budgeting, forecasting and analysis to optimize CAC, gross margin and working capital cycles.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

A high attention to detail is also essential.
