Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director - Learning & Development to join our team at Marsh McLennan India. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and driving the strategic global learning vision and implementation of innovative learning and development initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for learning and development that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement innovative learning programs that leverage technology and best practices in adult learning.
  • Assess future skills requirements and create targeted learning initiatives to address gaps and prepare employees for upcoming challenges.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships aligning the learning goals and activity to meet the business needs and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure learning initiatives are relevant, engaging, and integrated into the organizational culture.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make informed decisions for future improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Graduation / post-graduation in any stream.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • Leadership skills to guide, motivate, empower and support the team towards achieving business goals.
  • Strategic thinking to develop and articulate a long-term vision for learning that aligns with organizational goals and anticipates future needs.
  • Innovative mindset to identify and implement cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies to enhance employee engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Change management skills to lead and manage change initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience among employees.
  • Collaboration and communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across departments and effectively communicate learning initiatives and their benefits.
  • Data-driven decision making to utilize data analytics to assess learning program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills to inspire and guide employees in their professional development, fostering a supportive learning environment.
