Wireless Network Specialist

Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert support and manage network infrastructure, designing and implementing new sites for Business operations.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of Aruba Central, Aruba switches, wireless deployment, and advanced wireless and switching technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Solid experience in configuring, deploying, installing, and troubleshooting Aruba/Cisco switches, wireless APs, and Aruba central.
  • Configuration and deployment of new Aruba switches, wireless controller, and other network infrastructure devices.
  • Perform analysis and troubleshooting of networking, wireless, and ISE-related problems.
  • Provide support to customers on various issues reported by users, clients, and connecting application integrations.
  • Perform upgrades and patching of existing deployments, including switches, wireless clusters, or access points.
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet LAN switching protocols and standards, including VLANs, VLAN aggregation, Ether Channel, PVLANs, Spanning Tree & Rapid Spanning Tree, 802.1Q.
  • Experience with Infoblox (DHCP/DNS/IPAM) and Network Monitoring tools like HPE-IMC and Zabbix.
  • Good knowledge of SNMP and understanding of 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, different EAP-methods, PKI.
  • Should understand Palo Alto/Routing basics and working.
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards - Incident, Change & Problem Management.
  • Exposure to problem-solving, handling problem tickets, etc.
  • Experience supporting, engineering, and maintaining large networks and providing highly professional second-level support.
  • Ability to work in 24x7 shifts and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
