Bread Financial is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the financial services sector. As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security controls and architectures that meet the needs of our business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Design and implement cloud security architectures that meet the needs of our business, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration of cloud security controls into our overall security posture.
  • Analyze and mitigate cloud security risks, including identifying vulnerabilities and developing remediation plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our cloud security posture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud security controls and architectures.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security protocols, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate cloud security risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience with cloud security tools, including cloud security gateways, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.

Bread Financial offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
