Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Quality Engineer E to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality in our designs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Study new designs and identify critical-to-quality (CTQ) characteristics, ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
  • Provide feedback on new designs, focusing on CTQs and working closely with design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Sustainability (DFS) best practices.
  • Drive the implementation of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) processes, promoting collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring CTQ identification and cascading.
  • Manage market-design related issues through root cause analysis, developing countermeasures, and cascading solutions to new development projects.
  • Resolve base model, aftermarket model part (MP), and gateway (GB) issues through gate tracking, event trials, and drawing studies, ensuring alignment and senior review.
  • Evaluate suppliers' quality assurance processes, confirming compliance with APQP and QC tool standards, and taking action on current issues.
