Job Title: Façade Access Consultant

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facade Access Consultant to join our team of dedicated specialists. This exciting opportunity will allow you to gain valuable experience in providing façade access advice and design expertise on challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with prestigious and complex projects around the world, tapping into the wide resources pool across the company. They will be responsible for advising on the integration of façade access systems into the project, leading the design to achieve the optimal combination of cost, aesthetic impact and functionality, while following best health and safety practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the wider design team to advise on façade access system integration.
  • Leading the design to achieve cost, aesthetic impact and functionality balance.
  • Preparing façade access strategy reports at key stages of the project.
  • Preparing Employer's Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for façade access and façade replacement systems.
  • Reviewing contractor drawings and inspecting site throughout the construction process.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.
  • Knowledge of façade access systems, their performance and operation, as well as current engineering standards, practices, regulations and legislation.
  • Relevant academic background and enthusiasm, self-motivation.
  • Competence in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software.
