About Portfolio Management

Portfolio management is a crucial aspect of investment services, and we are seeking a skilled professional to oversee this function. As a portfolio manager, you will be responsible for making informed investment decisions that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a strong background in finance, law, or business management. A professional qualification such as CFA or equivalent is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have at least five years of experience in related activities in the securities market, including portfolio management or investment advisory services.

Specific requirements include:

  • A body corporate with necessary infrastructure, including office space, equipment, and manpower
  • A compliance officer appointed by the applicant
  • The principal officer having a professional qualification in law, finance, accountancy, or business management
  • An experience of at least two years in portfolio management or investment advisory services

Other essential criteria include:

  • NISM XXI-B certification
  • A graduate with at least two years of experience in related activities in the securities market
  • Net worth requirements under PMS
  • No involvement in any litigation or convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude
  • Being a fit and proper person as per SEBI regulations
  • Application fees, registration fees, and renewal fees paid to SEBI
