Senior Lighting Technical Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals for the role of Lighting BIM Architect. This position focuses on working with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, specifically Revit and BIM 360.
Key Responsibilities- Create new Revit projects and templates with precision and accuracy.
- Design custom lighting fixture families using industry-standard techniques.
- Manage models in BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate lighting into overall building designs.
- Quality Checks
- Review BIM work performed by team members, maintaining high standards.
- Verify all models meet project requirements and industry benchmarks.
- Establish and follow quality check processes, promoting excellence.
- Lighting Design
- Develop comprehensive lighting solutions from concept to detailed design and documentation.
- Craft accurate lighting models that meet project specifications and industry guidelines.
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate lighting into building designs.
- Share knowledge and best practices related to lighting and BIM.
- Documentation
- Publish detailed drawings, reports, and specifications for lighting projects.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to project managers or clients.
You will require:
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a BIM Engineer, particularly in lighting design.
- Relevant certifications in BIM or lighting design are an asset.
- Strong proficiency in BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Docs.
- Familiarity with lighting design principles and concepts.
- Experience with quality checks in BIM workflows.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
