Job Overview:

This role entails leading a team of credit professionals in the end-to-end process of mortgage and retail loan underwriting.

The successful candidate will assess and underwrite loan applications, ensuring compliance with product and policy norms from initial application to final disbursal.

  • Manage a team of credit specialists in the assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of loan applicants' credit worthiness, adhering to Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, credit bureau assessments, and financial reviews.
  • Oversee the disbursement of mortgage loans, including all relevant checks and verifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless loan processing and training.
  • Engage with clients, maintaining efficient processing timelines and participating in internal and external audits.
  • Supervise vendors, focusing on quality control.
