Job Title: Mainframe Tester

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in the testing lifecycle process, including creating test cases, data, and execution as per requirement/design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Test Strategy/Test plan document to define scope and approach of testing
  • Analyze the Requirements and identify Test scenarios/design the Test cases
  • Prepare the Test data according to test scenarios
  • Execute Test cases by submit Jobs and analyze the results
  • Report the issues and coordinate with Development/support team for fixing the errors

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in editing JCL or create JCL to submit the Test Batch Jobs
  • Awareness of TSO/ISPF commands in Mainframe
  • Ability to analyze the logs in Spool for Abended jobs and provide the root cause of the issue
  • Experience in STLC Lifecycle (Software Testing Life Cycle) or Agile methodology
