Job Role Overview

This is a highly skilled technical position that requires expertise in system availability, incident resolution, and production stability.

Mission and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams to maintain a resilient environment for trading and risk management systems.

  • Ensure Murex application availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined service level agreements.
  • Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, DBA, and network teams on environment-related issues.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience with hands-on exposure to Python/Java, Cloud (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL.
  • Direct experience with the Murex platform.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
  • Experience with automation or scripting for production support.
  • Exposure to financial products and trading systems.
