Key Skills and Qualifications for Backend Development

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team at Valuelabs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Ruby on Rails and be proficient in backend systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems
  • Working closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX with backend functionality
  • Maintaining and improving existing backend systems to ensure high performance and reliability

The candidate should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in backend development using Ruby on Rails
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL/MySQL and database management
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good understanding of AI/DE usage and its applications in backend development

Requirements

  • Ruby on Rails (or any other backend programming language)
  • React (good to have)
  • SQL/MySQL
  • Troubleshooting/Production Support
  • AiDE/GenAI usage
