Mechanical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled mechanical design specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and developing designs for projects in various sectors, including manufacturing.
- Modifying existing products or designs to increase efficiency or improve performance;
- Managing the process of turning designs into reality;
- Working with clients and colleagues to develop a design brief;
- Researching whether the design will work and be cost-effective;
- Assessing and testing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a design;
- Using computer-aided design (Solid works) software.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with proficiency in Solid Works and other relevant software. They should also possess excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing design solutions;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity;
- Conducting feasibility studies and assessing design requirements;
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements;
- Managing budgets and timelines to meet project deliverables.
Requirements:
- BE (Mechanical) / Diploma/ B.tech in Mechanical Engineering;
- Proficiency in Solid Works and other relevant software;
- Excellent communication and project management skills;
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
