Cloud Engineering Team Lead

Our organization seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to manage critical cloud infrastructure for global customers.

This role involves providing 24x7 managed support for cloud environments, overseeing a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with our partners to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues holistically.
  • Review tickets and escalate when necessary.
  • Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and resolve issues hands-on.
  • Interact with customers through various channels.
  • Evaluate team performance regularly and provide feedback.
Mandatory Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience in L3 technical support with a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization.

Expertise in cloud, containers, virtualization, and supporting technologies is essential.

Familiarity with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology is required.

Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine) is highly valued.

Good understanding of Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash is also important.

Excellent communication skills are crucial.

Leadership experience managing a team of at least 4 people is necessary.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

At least 10 years of experience is required.
