Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to serve as a technical lead across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

  • Provide architectural oversight, conduct code/design reviews, and enforce quality assurance standards.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with regulatory and business requirements in the capital markets domain.
  • Guide teams in the development and support of high-availability, secure financial applications.
  • Ensure smooth DevOps processes and manage production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of web-based enterprise applications in the capital markets domain using Java and related technologies.
  • Review and approve designs, technical specifications, and architecture artifacts.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintainability.
  • Drive event-driven architecture implementation for real-time systems.
  • Integrate and deploy on IBM WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, and Windows environments.
  • Implement messaging and asynchronous communication via MQ Series.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data access on IBM DB2.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Develop scalable and secure financial applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Design and implement efficient data access mechanisms using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and reliability.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading large-scale software development projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
