Cloud Infrastructure Professional

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Professional to manage and maintain our cloud resources on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting, deploying, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using a wide range of AWS services.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. This will involve automating the build, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free releases.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage and version control infrastructure configuration.
  • You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions for applications and infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. This will involve proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • In addition, you will optimize the performance and resource utilization of our systems through effective load balancing, caching, and scaling strategies. You will also monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • This role also involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and conducting regular security assessments to establish and enforce security best practices to safeguard our applications and data.
  • You will be responsible for implementing robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect critical data and ensure business continuity in case of failures.
  • This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations staff to deliver successful projects.
  • You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps and AWS cloud infrastructure management.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Solid background in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.
  • Thorough understanding of networking, security, and data storage concepts in AWS environments.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.
  • AWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are highly desirable.
