Job Title: Database Administrator

Database administrators are crucial to the success of an organization. As a database administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of our database environments. With 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance, you will be proficient in backups, restore, user management, and securing the database environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance in Windows/Linux Environment with proficiency in backups, restore, user management, securing the database environment.
  • Database Configuration Experience:
  • Working experience in configuring master/slave replication with failovers and recovery scenarios.
  • Cloud Migration Expertise:
  • Experience with on-prem to cloud database migration.
  • Cloud Platform Skills:
  • Experience working on cloud environments (Preferably AWS).
  • Upgrade and Patching Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience with Upgrade, Patching and Maintenance of PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server databases
  • Performance Tuning Skills:
  • Good experience in performance tuning of SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB database environment.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance
  2. Hands-on experience in backups, restore, user management, securing the database environment
  3. Working experience in configuring the master/slave replication with failovers and recovery scenarios
  4. Experience with on-prem to cloud database migration
  5. Experience with working on cloud environments (Preferably AWS)
  6. Hands-on experience with Upgrade, Patching and Maintenance of PostgreSQL/MongoDB/SQL Server databases
  7. Good experience in performance tuning of SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MongoDB database environment
