Job Title: IC Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned IC Designer to oversee the entire physical design process, encompassing floorplanning, placement, budgeting, clock tree planning and analysis, scan reordering, routing, timing and SI analysis/closure, ECO tasks, EM/IR, DRC, LVS, ERC analysis & fixes, low power solution development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement full-chip and block-level physical designs using advanced EDA tools.
  • Collaborate with the methodology team to enhance the physical design flow and tackle complex implementation challenges.
  • Maintain expertise in design automation, timing constraints, SI prevention, and power reduction techniques.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the physical design flow and assist in the development of new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in ASIC physical design.
  • Experience with block implementation, extraction, timing, and full-chip designs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Unix, TCL, Perl, and other relevant tools.
